Method

Clean and Dry Today Carpet Cleaning Service is a proud user of the CIRCULAR DRY FOAM METHOD of carpet cleaning.  The Circular Dry foam method is a dry cleaning method, which means that our technique and equipment remove the maximum amount of dirt, get out most stains and odors and do it without wetting through the carpet backing into the padding and on to floors. Other more commonly used methods have a tendency to damage the carpeting, padding and floor by soaking, and/or steaming.  This is an important fact to remember when shopping for a carpet cleaning method because once carpeting is soaked through, permanent damage will result in premature wear, buckling, rippling and even damage to flooring material, costing the consumer thousands of dollars for replacement. As far as general efficiency of cleaning is concerned, these other methods often push dirt deeper into the rug, rather than remove it!

***STEPS IN THE PROCESS***

Ø      Step One:  Deep clean vacuum out loose dirt using a patented Electrolux vacuum cleaning system.  Our vacuum cleaning equipment is specially designed to clean out loose dirt from carpeting.  The forward, backward and side-to-side motion of operation of the equipment insures that all loose dirt is removed on all levels of the carpet nap.

Ø      Step Two:  Foam shampoo application.  Foam that looks a bit like shaving cream is applied to carpets using shampooing equipment.  This equipment has scrubbing brushes on the bottom of the machine that gently yet thoroughly apply the foam to all levels of the carpet nap.  The foam is scrubbed into the carpet fibers and it disappears in moments, going to work crystallizing with the soils in the carpet and acting almost like a dirt magnet.  Dirt sticks to the crystals!

Ø      Step Three:  Nap lifting. The equipment is then converted by changing brushes.  We then proceed over the foamed carpets lifting the nap and fluffing, especially in high traffic areas.  This revitalizes tired and worn looking areas of the carpet, boosting its appearance to look like new!

Ø      Step Four:  Wait!  Even though the carpets look great by this point in the process, there is more cleaning to come.  As the drying continues for the next 4 to 7 hours, the foam in the carpets continues to attract dirt.  Carpets are still being cleaned well after we leave!!!

Ø      Step Five:  After 7 hours have elapsed, we recommend vacuuming the carpets to remove the fine, virtually unnoticeable powder that the dried foam and crystallized dirt have become.
